HFA COMMUNITY DANCE + WORKSHOP RETURNS!

We’re back for round two of the HFA Community Dance + Workshop—a joyful day of music, movement, and connection! Join us for all the squares and social dancing you know and love, with live calling by Hannah Shira Naiman and toe-tapping tunes from the HFA Community Band, led by the amazing Saskia Tomkins.

This time, we’re thrilled to welcome back members of KUNE: Canada’s Global Orchestra, who will bring an exciting Brazilian Forro dance to the floor—plus more traditional music and movement from around the world. You’ll have the chance to dance, learn, and experience the energy of global rhythms right here in our own backyard.

🎻 Musicians! Join us from 12–2 PM for a special workshop where you’ll learn Greek, Peruvian, and Brazilian tunes with members of KUNE. Afterward, we’ll come together for a potluck lunch—a chance to connect before the big dance kicks off.

🎨 And new this time: a drop-in art-making activity during the dance! Everyone is welcome to get creative while soaking in the festive vibes.

Whether you’re dancing, playing, creating, or just cheering others on—this is a celebration of community, culture, and joy you won’t want to miss!
