Pete Johansson has earned the title of global headlining comic with a relentless non stop schedule taking him to every corner of the globe. His unique socially progressive, intellectually challenging, yet accessible and silly comedy has garnered a devoted following of fans looking for laughs with something more. This profile was recently bolstered with his very well reviewed (chortle.co.uk) first comedy special ‘You might also enjoy…Pete Johansson’ released by Netflix simultaneously in 82 countries and a critically acclaimed and powerful appearance on Comedy Central’s ‘This is Not Happening’. A favourite at comedy festivals, Pete is one of only three Canadians ever nominated for an Edinburgh award at the Edinburgh Fringe, and has been invited to perform from South Africa to Australia to Singapore. Originally from Kelowna, Pete started performing in his teens, and developed his art from coast to coast in Canada making his first appearance at The Just For Laughs festival when he was only 24 and following that up with 6 more appearances at the festival over his 20 year career, including 4 galas taped for the CBC. Numerous other TV appearances fill his resume, from The Late Late Show on CBS, Premium Blend on Comedy Central, Friday Night on NBC, Russell Howard’s Good News on BBC, The Best of the Fest on Channel 4, Live From the Comedy Store on Comedy Central, Russell Peters Red Light District on Showtime, 2 Episodes of ‘The Debaters’ TV show on CBC, one of which was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award, and three Winnipeg Comedy festival Gala’s. A relentless writer, and social critic you can always expect an engaging and intriguing show from this once in a lifetime comedian.

MC Ted Morris
A veteran of the Canadian comedy scene, Ted Morris started his comedy career while looking for a way to blow off steam during veterinary school. His most recent achievements include the release of his long-awaited debut comedy album “Dawn of the Ted”, being insulted by Simon Cowell on season 14 of “America’s Got Talent”, his 5th appearance at the Halifax Comedy Festival, 3rd appearance at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, a stand-up set and interview on Comedy Night with Rick Mercer on CBC, continuing his undefeated streak on CBC Radio’s “The Debaters”, a Gala taping at Just for Laughs Montreal which was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award and a Canadian Comedy Award nomination for Best Stand-up Comic.
He’s pretty funny.

Featuring Ronald Hae
Ronald Hae is a comedian based out of Mississauga. His act is centred around Asian culture, life as a teacher, family and relationships. He started his comedy training at The Second City in Toronto. He has performed at the Brantford Rising Stars Festival, been featured on Sirius XM radio, and Just for Laughs Toronto. Ronald is also the host of a monthly podcast called The Teacher Hotline. The show was recently ranked the #6 Educational Podcast for Teachers in Canada.

After 20 studio albums, 8 Juno Awards, 31 Maple Blues Awards and multi-platinum record sales, Colin James remains at the top of his game, continuing to challenge himself musically.

His most recent release, Chasing the Sun, finds the blues-rock singer-songwriter’s electrifying 21st studio album featuring the kind of towering musical guests typically found on the other side of velvet ropes. Co-produced by Colin Linden, guest artists include Americana icon Lucinda Williams, bassist Darryl Jones and drummer Charley Drayton (who have backed Miles Davis and The Rolling Stones) plus American harmonica ace Charlie Musselwhite and gospel greats Ann and Regina McCrary.

Colin’s career is a timeline rich in highlights. His 1988 self-titled debut, featuring his two self-penned hits “Voodoo Thing” and “Five Long Years,” was the fastest-selling album in Canadian history. James Barker Band is proof that big dreams can grow from small-town roots. Fueled by friendship, grit, and a shared love for storytelling, the band has gone from local dive bars to headlining stages across North America and Europe, amassing over 295 million global streams, multiple No. 1 hits, and the unwavering devotion of fans along the way.

The story began in 2009 when James Barker (lead vocals/guitar) and Connor Stephen (drums) first met at band camp.
